Fresh allegations have surfaced involving Bryon Noem, the husband of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, after a woman who describes herself as his former dominatrix claimed he contacted her months after reports about his alleged private life made international headlines.
The claims were made by Shy Sotomayor during an appearance on the Uncloseted with Spencer Macnaughton podcast, where she discussed what she says was a long-running relationship with Bryon Noem.
Alleged Message Sent Months After Public Controversy
According to Sotomayor, she received an iMessage from Bryon Noem as recently as May 17, well after photographs allegedly showing him dressed in women’s clothing had been widely circulated in media reports.
She claimed the message was brief and read:
“I’ve been a really bad boy.”
Sotomayor said the communication came as a surprise given the public attention surrounding the earlier allegations.
She Says She Urged Him to Seek Professional Help
Rather than continuing the conversation, Sotomayor said she chose to send what she described as a final message encouraging Noem to seek professional support.
According to her account, she told him she believed he needed help and suggested the public controversy should serve as a wake-up call.
She also said she informed him that she was ending communication and expressed the view that anyone choosing to become involved with him under the circumstances should reconsider.
Sotomayor stated that Bryon did not respond to her message.
Claim of Unpaid Invoice
During the podcast interview, Sotomayor also alleged that after receiving no reply, she sent Noem an invoice totaling $4,500, which she claims has never been paid.
She did not provide additional details regarding the purpose of the invoice during the interview.
“He Didn’t Care About the Consequences”
Reflecting on what she described as their previous interactions, Sotomayor claimed Bryon Noem appeared unconcerned about the possibility that his private activities could eventually become public.
She alleged that whenever she warned him about the potential consequences of being exposed, he dismissed those concerns and indicated he was not worried about the outcome.
Based on her experiences, she described him as unpredictable and unconcerned with the risks associated with his actions.
Earlier Reports Drew Widespread Attention
The latest claims follow earlier reports alleging that Bryon Noem participated in an online cross-dressing community under the alias “Jason Jackson.” Those reports included allegations that he communicated with women involved in online “bimbofication” communities, although the claims have remained the subject of public discussion and media scrutiny.
The controversy generated widespread attention earlier this year after photographs and screenshots circulated online.
No Public Response From Kristi Noem
As of now, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has not publicly commented on the latest allegations made by Sotomayor.
Bryon Noem has also not publicly responded to the claims discussed during the podcast interview.
